Our client is a 100 bed hospital nestled right in the foothills in a beautiful area that takes patient safety and quality of care very seriously. 

The Director of Med/surg plans and directs all nursing personnel within the Med Surg department. The Medical Surgical Director develops and implements nursing policies, objectives, and initiatives. Reviews nursing department operations to ensure compliance with established standards. The Director of Medical Surgical ensures that all patients receive the highest quality care. The Med Surg Director relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist. Typically reports to top management.

Requirements:

·        BSN

·        Masters Preferred

·        5+ years’ experience in an acute care med surg leadership capacity
