Director of Lumber

An outstanding, full-time opportunity is currently available for a Director of Lumber experienced in hardwood, lumber and forestry to join a highly stable organization. This role will cover 4 locations within Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula. Job Description:

• Will oversee multiple plant managers
• Drive to multiple locations across Wisconsin (WI) and the Upper Peninsula (U.P.) to help manage production, maintenance and safety of mills
• Interact with various departments including log procurement

Required work experience includes:

• 5+ years’ experience within the hardwood, lumber or forestry industry

Preferred skill/ experiences include:

• Strong knowledge of National Hardwood Lumber Association (NHLA) grading rules
• Demonstrated experience in improving productivity and reducing cost in a production environment

Required education/ licenses include:

• Bachelors in Forestry or related field
