Our client, top tier law firm in Atlanta is seeking a Director of Litigation Administration for their Product Liability practice group. This position is an immediate need.

This position will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic business plan to grow the practice and optimize performance including, but not limited to, business strategy, planning, staffing and workflow. Other responsibilities will be to (i) analyze trends within the legal industry and among competitors and make recommendations that ensure competitiveness (ii) establish measurable goals and objectives for the department that support the execution of the business plan, (iii) operations responsibilities will include overseeing execution and progress on practice group strategic business plan action items (iv) evaluate effectiveness of processes and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and manage practice group resources effectively, and (v) ensure lawyers and staff have resources necessary to succeed.

The financial component of this position will include (i) prepare revenue projections for the practice group and analyze and interpret financial data and trends, identifying opportunities to enhance financial performance, (ii) evaluation of paralegal and associate financial performance, (iii) develop reports and presentations to firm leadership on business plan progress, (iv) develop and monitor the budget, (v) collaborate with Finance to establish pricing parameters, and (vi) evaluate ROI for business development expenditures and make recommendations as appropriate.

Qualifications for this position:
  • JD strongly preferred
  • 10 years’ experience in a law firm setting with 3 to 5 years’ experience in Practice Group Management
