Responsibilities

This Lab Director position includes managing staff with flexible shifts and hours across two different campuses. The Lab Director is expected to spend equal time at both locations each week.

The Lab Director will be responsible for directing technical activities, development of department policies, directs quality program to maintain high quality diagnostic testing and ensures all lab activities comply with regulations. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology with a hospital-based formal internship
  • CLS/MT-ASCP certification in New York
  • 3-5 years + experience in high-complexity testing
  • Minimum of 2 + year experience in management, effective communication and writing skills.
