Director of L&D Labor and Delivery

Our client is currently seeking a Director for their busy Labor & Delivery department.

Responsible for the operations, personnel and financial management of department. Supports the Executive Administrative director in achieving optimum performance by ensuring continuity and quality of service and care through the management of overall day-to-day operations. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Has a focus on high risk patient population.
A Change Agent -someone who has worked for a few different organizations wherein they were instrumental in assisting with cultural transformation.
Experience in staff engagement that fosters a culture of accountability and ownership

Qualifications:

  • Minimum: Bachelors degree or progressive nursing/management experience
  • Desired: Masters degree in Nursing/Business or equivalent
  • Minimum: Three (3) years at the Assistant Director/Director level
  • Desired: Five (5) years previous job related experience with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Valid NM Nursing license of NM compact license (must acquire NM license within 90 days of hire) or eligible
  • BLS
  • NRP
