- Execute a multi-year IT roadmap that aligns with the company's growth strategy
- Partner with executive leadership to identify where technology can strengthen productivity, service, and decision-making
- Translate business needs into practical technology solutions across a distributed service, engineering, and distribution environment
- Lead selection, implementation, and support of core business systems including ERP, CRM, e-commerce, service, and inventory platforms
- Partner with finance, operations, sales, service, and engineering leaders to improve workflows, integration, and data quality
- Support digital capabilities that enable technical sales, distribution efficiency, service execution, and engineered system delivery
- Oversee systems integration strategy and application portfolio rationalization
- Build a practical data and analytics strategy that improves visibility into operations and customer performance
- Strengthen data governance, reporting consistency, and system interoperability across the business
- Champion process improvement and automation using modern platforms and analytics
- Develop and manage the IT budget and overall technology investment portfolio
- Evaluate and manage relationships with software, managed services, telecom, and hardware vendors
- Balance cost discipline with service quality, security, and scalability
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive IT leadership experience spanning business applications, enterprise reporting, and team leadership
- 3+ years in a senior IT leadership role with budget ownership and cross-functional partnership
- Willingness to travel more than 30 percent of the time across multiple business locations
- Experience leading IT within a multi-site operating environment such as industrial distribution, manufacturing, or engineered products
- Solid understanding of ERP, CRM, cloud platforms, and modern IT service delivery
- Track record leading enterprise system implementations and organizational change
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing vendors, contracts, and technology investments
- Excellent executive communication skills with the ability to connect technology decisions to business outcomes
- Master's degree or MBA
- Experience in industrial distribution, fluid handling, engineered systems, or related B2B technical environments
- Experience supporting e-commerce, field service systems, and warehouse or distribution platforms
- Experience managing a multi-ERP environment
- Experience in a highly acquisitive private equity backed business with responsibility for integrating multiple acquisitions concurrently
