Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the CEO for a rapidly growing company.
The Director of IT leads 3 direct reports (Salesforce Administrator, System Analyst, Helpdesk) to support continued sales growth by scaling its applications and technology systems. The goal is to continue 20% growth year-over-year. Plans, directs, coordinates, and supervises all aspects of the IT Department. Collaborates across all departments to analyze, evaluate, and prioritize business requirements to determine technology needs to support key business processes. Identifies the need for upgrades, configurations, or new systems. Selects software applications and delivers solution configuration and integration in a manner that is scalable. Coordinates system upgrades, user maintenance, set-up, changes, and other administrative tasks/projects. Manages projects (with an Agile approach) while meeting timelines and budgets. Promotes and ensures universal user adoption of technology, including regular training and appropriate documentation. Devises and establishes IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies. Oversees and directs employees, contracts, and vendor resources. Define responsibilities, establish performance standards, provide oversight, coaching and mentoring. Coordinate with IT staff to manage the process of innovative change. Assists in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts. Tracks project activity; resolves problems; publishes progress report; recommend actions. Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Configures and monitors system integrations to ensure proper data transfer. Maintains accuracy of data in all systems. Oversees a primarily PC work environment. Monitors information backup procedures for all software programs. Maintains uptime for B2B website & supports regular feature updates from marketing.

- Background with a company managing inventory
- Vendor selection & negotiation
- Completed software implementations on time & within budget while working with external vendors.
- Developed & implemented online customer-facing portal supporting product awareness, education, etc.
- Technology stack (Agile Methodology, Salesforce.com, Enterprise QuickBooks, ConfigureOne-CPQ)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (i.e., Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science or related field)
- Residence: St. Cloud, MN (Relocation assistance provided)
- Inventory business systems & processes
- Process improvement (Inventory, distribution, sales-quotations)
- B2B, value added distribution or light manufacturing
