Director of Human Resources

This role will be responsible for:

  • Leading all field HR functions including employee relations, retention initiatives, engagement programs, and HR policy development.
  • Supervising HR Generalists and Regional HR Business Partners.
  • Overseeing successful implementation and adoption of a new HRIS system across all teams.
  • Ensuring 100% policy compliance and maintaining high audit standards in all HR processes.
  • Guiding HR team development through coaching, mentorship, and strategic goal-setting.
  • Partnering with legal counsel on complex compliance and investigation matters.
  • Supporting corporate departments and Home Office staff with HR best practices.

Expectations will include:

  • Maintaining ≥95% policy compliance and <5% error rate in HR data processes.
  • Driving employee retention by executing field-level HR initiatives and partnerships.
  • Ensuring full integration and adoption of HRIS and digital tools among staff.
  • Providing timely, legally sound recommendations following employee relations investigations.
  • Developing and executing annual HR policies, including staff training and communication plans.
  • Building trust and accountability through responsive, high-integrity leadership.
  • Collaborating with vendors to manage third-party HR programs while maintaining internal standards.

A qualified candidate will possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role within a multi-site organization.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, policy development, and compliance.
  • Experience leading HRIS implementation (Dayforce or similar preferred).
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to use data for strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.
  • Industry experience in healthcare or ABA highly preferred.

Compensation: Compensation will include a base salary, bonus, and the potential for some equity for the right person.
