Our client is the leading provider of facial recognition technologies to US law enforcement, state, and federal agencies. The mission is to help users solve crimes and prevent financial fraud with the responsible use of their facial recognition software. Position: Director of HR Location: NYC area, Washington DC area, Remote
Responsibilities:
● Develop corporate plans for a variety of human resource matters such as compensation, benefits, health, morale, performance plans, training, and recruitment
● Act to support the human factor in the company by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training and development
● Oversee all HR initiatives, systems, and tactics
● Supervise the work of HR personnel and provide guidance
● Serve as the point of contact for employment relations and communicate with upper and lower management
● Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards
● Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required
● Anticipate and resolve HR risks
●Report to senior management by analyzing data and using HR metrics
● Acting as an advocate of the company’s values and culture to create a best in class work environment
● Manage more HR personnel as the Company grows
Requirements:
● Experience as a Senior HR Manager or HR Director or similar role at an enterprise software company (5 year minimum)
● Experience implementing and managing compensation and benefits program
● Experience in developing culture in a remote environment
● Multi-tasking abilities
● Responsiveness
● Strong interpersonal skills
● Knowledge of HR laws and regulations
● Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
