Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the CEO for a full service supply chain solutions provider specializing in asset & non-asset based transportation, domestic & international logistics, and warehousing & fulfillment. The Director of Human Resources is responsible for building & leading the HR team and implementing policies as a generalist while partnering with business leadership to ensure a complete understanding of business needs and objectives. Responsible for the following areas: talent acquisition & management, employee & labor relations, safety, corporate & employee records, training, benefits administration, payroll, and EEO compliance. Acts as the face of company policy, philosophy, and guidance to employees. Partners with leadership team to drive high performing culture. Works with management to resolve employee relations issues and conducts investigations as appropriate. Reviews operation structures including talent assessments & gaps and creates talent strategies including recruiting, top grading, employee development, and reorganization. Reviews compensation structures and is aware of positions in the job market. Identifies training program opportunities for new hires, skill building, and cross training across. Participates in company’s safety program. Ensures company standards and procedures are followed consistently.
