Job Description

About the Opportunity

Join a rapidly growing, hospitality-focused services company with a large, multi-location hourly workforce. This is both a strategic and hands-on leadership role—an opportunity to elevate strong existing foundations and build the HR infrastructure that will power the company’s next stage of growth. You’ll design systems that drive efficiency, strengthen compliance, and shape an engaging employee experience for a diverse, customer-facing team. This is the perfect role for an HR leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys building from the ground up, and wants to make a lasting impact on a company in growth mode.

About the Company

This LA-based premium valet parking organization is redefining hospitality through a blend of high-touch service and modern convenience. With hundreds of dedicated team members and more than a hundred client locations, the company delivers a seamless, elevated guest experience that combines professionalism, personalization, and innovation. Entrepreneurial at its core, the business is expanding rapidly—adding new markets across the U.S. and internationally—while maintaining the agility, creativity, and close-knit culture of a startup.

What You Will Do

People Systems and Compliance

  • Lead all aspects of wage and hour compliance for California and additional states as operations expand, ensuring adherence to all employment laws.
  • Develop and standardize policies, handbooks, and manager toolkits tied to headcount thresholds and regulatory obligations.
  • Partner with leadership to anticipate future compliance needs and ensure readiness for growth into new markets.

HR Operations and Technology

  • Lead and standardize HR operations company-wide, including payroll, time and attendance, and workforce management systems.
  • Streamline recruiting and retention processes to improve efficiency, transparency, and scalability.
  • Design reporting and analytics to give leadership visibility into compliance, turnover, and workforce trends.
  • Introduce HR technologies and systems that support multi-location operations and eliminate manual processes.

Talent, Training, and Culture

  • Build a consistent onboarding experience and service training program reflecting luxury hospitality standards.
  • Partner with operations to develop and deliver training that equips managers and field employees to succeed.
  • Shape and reinforce a strong company culture that emphasizes compliance, teamwork, and service excellence.

Organizational Development

  • Build the HR function from the ground up—designing structure, processes, and systems to support rapid expansion.
  • Lead workforce planning and HR strategy in partnership with the CEO and leadership team.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to HR and field management teams, ensuring alignment between operational goals and HR best practices.

What You Bring

  • 7–10 years of progressive HR leadership experience supporting large hourly or field-based teams, ideally within hospitality, parking, or other service industries.
  • Proven expertise in California wage and hour compliance, employee relations, payroll, and workforce operations.
  • Experience scaling HR functions in multi-location or fast-growing environments.
  • Hands-on leader with the ability to balance strategy and execution; willing to roll up sleeves to get things done.
  • Demonstrated success managing HR technology platforms and leveraging data to inform decisions.
  • Strong people manager who can build and mentor an HR team.
  • Excellent communication, influence, and relationship-building skills across all levels of an organization.

Compensation and Perks

  • Base salary of $70,000 - $100,000 with performance-based bonus potential (up to 10–15% annually)
  • Hybrid work model following initial three-month on-site period
  • Free parking at company locations, regular team lunches, and a stocked office environment
  • Health and retirement benefits
