JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this role is to assist the CIO in among others his role as Chairman of the Investment Committee. Ensures that all exposes are presented correctly to the Committee, that the correct people attend for the investments and or related debt financing proposals being discussed and that the meeting runs efficiently. Works under minimal supervision, conferring with superior(s) on unusual matters. Assignments are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manages the Investment Committee process, including related approval or rejection processes within a region. Responsible for final sign-off on finalized deal terms and conditions in relation to Investment Committee approval conditions. Coordinates projects based on business needs and problem situations. Manages specific Business related projects that have been delegated by the CIO. Monitors the progress of projects, identifies cost overruns and monitors achievement of milestones. Manages pan European projects with regards to portfolio management and specifically capital transactions. Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Masters degree with five to eight years of relevant experience in either risk management or process management; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Fully competent professional.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics for senior management, clients and/or public groups. Excellent written and verbal skills in English and preferably one other foreign language. FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Conducts business/financial analysis including the preparation of reports.
