DIRECTOR OF FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS - North Atlanta

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with the CFO to develop and execute key strategies to support the department and corporate mission
  • Develop and maintain high-level financial reporting, business analysis, budgeting, forecasting and strategic/tactical planning
  • Coordinate/execute annual Planning process
  • Prepare/review materials/presentations for FP&A Monthly Package, SIOP Forecast Process, Board Presentations, lenders and current/potential customers
  • Determine strategy for the department, business units and senior management to determine the needs of the company and prioritize key activities
  • Partner with business leaders to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports in areas such as the debt structure and covenants, individual business unit contribution and risk areas to meeting financial commitments
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting for decision-making associated with new business, pricing decisions, customer decisions, product decisions & warehouse/plant decisions
  • Provide profitability reporting at the market, warehouse and customer level
  • Build strategic relationships with business customers and ensure reporting needs are met
  • Manage/train/develop/mentor Financial Analysts
  • Ensure controls over the monthly compilation process are in place and adhered to

REQUIRMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance (MBA preferred)
  • 7+ plus years related experience
  • ERP systems knowledge (Oracle a plus)
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Management experience, strong leadership skills
  • Financial modeling experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills including time management, project management and prioritization of tasks
  • Ability to build relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Strategic thinker with ability to identify opportunity areas and present to senior management.
