Director of Finance

Commercial Real Estate corporation is seeking a Director of Finance (CPA required) to oversee accounting and finance. This position is on-site located downtown Houston.

Why would you consider this role? You can have a life, a family, and a career. Accounting/finance requires some overtime, but for the most part you are working 7-4 or 8-5 and no weekends.

• Commercial real estate accounting
• Consolidation accounting and Inter-Company accounting
• Federal and state taxes – corporations, partnerships and S-corporations
• Fixed asset and depreciation accounting
• Footnote requirements for audit reports
• Form 1099k filings for food hall
• Hotel city, county and state taxes
• Insurance for commercial real estate, marine liability and general liability
• Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Fee (PCORI) Filing
• Payroll and human resources
• Payroll taxes
• Property tax calculations and protesting
• Texas sales taxes
• Treasury management
• 401k reporting and oversight

Software Skill

• Ability to work in multiple accounting software packages
