About the Company

Our client is a growing, PE-backed clinical research site organization with 10+ research locations across the United States. The company runs Phase I–IV clinical trials, primarily Phase 2 and 3, for pharma/biotech sponsors and CROs. Its sites are led by experienced investigators and cover several high-demand therapeutic areas, including neuroscience, cardiometabolic disease and oncology. The organization has expanded through recent strategic acquisitions and continues to add sites to its network.

Position Overview

The Director of Feasibility is a newly created role that will build the company's centralized feasibility function from the ground up. Reporting to the VP of Business Development, this leader will standardize how feasibility is managed across the network, enable fast and consistent responses to sponsors, and lay the foundation for multi-site study proposals. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role with director-level scope and visibility to senior leadership. It suits a feasibility leader who enjoys both setting strategy and doing the work.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a centralized feasibility process, including workflows, tracking, systems and communication cadences across all sites
• Manage incoming feasibility requests end to end, targeting a 24 to 48 hour turnaround
• Maintain central site capability information and coordinate site teams and investigators on study-specific input
• Partner with business development, patient recruitment, operations, medical, and budgets and contracts teams
• Evaluate study opportunities against site capacity, patient access and therapeutic fit
• Support the integration of newly added sites into the feasibility process
• Over time, lead cross-functional efforts to develop multi-site proposals for pharma/biotech sponsors

Candidate Profile

• Direct, recent, hands-on experience leading or managing clinical trial feasibility, ideally within a site network, SMO or CRO
• A track record of building or significantly improving a feasibility function or process
• Operational understanding of clinical trial execution, including protocol review and site-level realities
• Ability to coordinate investigators, site staff and internal stakeholders around a consistent process
• A builder's mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, a growing organization and hands-on execution
• Willingness to travel regularly to research sites
• Experience with proposals, data-driven site selection or analytics is a plus
