We are seeking a dedicated Director of Employee Services to shape and drive strategic initiatives in our healthcare organization. This pivotal role focuses on creating a supportive, family-friendly workplace to foster effective coworker relations and enhance talent management. The Director will be integral in steering our efforts for high retention, successful recruitment, and comprehensive employee development, while collaborating with senior leadership to align HR functions with broader organizational goals.
Salary: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and recommend strategies in all areas of coworker relations to support a positive and family-friendly workplace.
- Implement and administer programs aimed at improving employee relations across the organization.
- Identify staffing needs and develop best practices for hiring and talent management that align with organizational goals.
- Supervise staff responsible for recruitment, personnel policies, and in-service training, enhancing productivity across various roles.
- Investigate and resolve employee issues including working conditions, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
- Develop and manage the HR department's operating budget, ensuring alignment with financial guidelines.
- Oversee performance reviews, hiring, promotions, terminations, and disciplinary actions.
- Direct the onboarding process, ensuring new employees are thoroughly introduced to organizational practices.
- Lead recruitment activities in collaboration with departmental leaders, enhancing outreach and advertising strategies.
- Provide training to directors and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Degree in Business or Public Administration, Human Resource Management, or closely related field required.
- Prior HR experience in the Healthcare industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of laws and regulations relating to Human Resources.
- Ability to successfully lead a team and manage departmental budgets.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SHRM Certified Professional (PHR) or Senior Professional (SPHR) certification.
- Proven track record in strategic planning and talent management within healthcare settings.
- Experience in managing complex employee relations issues.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive HR initiatives that align with organizational goals.
- Expertise in developing and implementing innovative employee training programs.
