Nealy Pierce, LLC has been engaged by a growing, progressive, non-profit health system in Tennessee to help identify, attract, and hire a Director of Critical Care and ER (RN)to join their leadership team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing inspirational and strategic leadership for our client's flagship hospital.
About the Director of Critical Care and ER (RN) Position:
* Will manage a total of 120 beds across the Emergency Department and Critical Care Services with a team of 350+ FTE's including a team of five (5) direct reports across Critical Care and Emergency Services. Each department is well-supported by a team of managers and educators.
* Non-profit, independently owned health system in the heart of Tennessee that has served its community for over 75 years
* Advanced Primary Stroke Center and Accredited Chest Pain Center designated

* The RN Director Critical Care and Emergency Services will provide strategic leadership to the departments, serve as a mentor to your team, ensure best practices utilizing evidence based research, build collaborative relationships across all levels, manage the budget, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory agencies.

Requirements for the Director of Critical Care and ER (RN):
* Master's degree preferred / Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
* Advanced nursing certification is a plus
* Minimum of three (3) years Emergency Department nursing leadership experience in a busy ED
* At least five (5) years of clinical ED nursing experience (ICU experience is also a plus)
* Inspirational and transformational leadership style
* Should have a track record and demonstrated success in improving patient flow and throughput, employee engagement and patient satisfaction
* Able to build positive and collaborative relationships across all levels
