Job Description

We are looking for a Director of Corporate FP&A to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Our client, a large and established corporation, is seeking a Director of Corporate FP&A to lead enterprise‑level financial planning cycles, drive strategic forecasting, and partner with senior leadership to guide financial decision‑making. This role offers high visibility and the opportunity to influence corporate strategy across multiple business units.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, long‑range planning, and quarterly forecasting for corporate functions.
  • Develop financial models and strategic analyses to support investment decisions, cost optimization, and scenario modeling.
  • Consolidate forecasts across multiple business units and prepare executive‑ready presentations for the CFO and senior leadership team.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to operational and functional leaders, providing financial insights that drive business performance.
  • Manage and mentor a team of FP&A analysts/senior analysts, ensuring accurate, timely financial deliverables.
  • Enhance reporting capabilities by standardizing dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Support monthly close activities with variance analysis and insights on trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and strengthen financial discipline.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 8–12+ years of progressive FP&A or Corporate Finance experience, ideally within a large corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated experience consolidating financials across multiple divisions or functional areas.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a high‑performing team.
  • Expert‑level Excel and financial modeling capabilities; experience with enterprise planning systems preferred (Anaplan, Hyperion, Workday Adaptive, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to executives.
