Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Executive Vice President of a non-asset-based final mile logistics solutions company. They work with big box retailers to transform the industry through operations, technology-based systems, and creative management solutions. This organization is dedicated to transforming the industry through innovation and technology.
The Director of Contractor Recruiting is responsible for the development and driving comprehensive independent contractor acquisition strategy and process across multiple divisions the company. The Director of Contractor Recruiting will design, build, improve, and scale independent delivery contractor management processes that support customers and internal teams. In this role, you will identify and implement systems, tools, and best practices that help source final mile contract labor for nationwide delivery operations. The ideal candidate is decisive, process-oriented, effective at relationship building, and can effortlessly transition between strategic and tactical needs of the business during times of high growth.

Background Required:
  • Independent contractor recruiting (5 yrs)
  • Multi Market IC Management (inbound, outbound)
  • Establish, track and report KPIs for independent contractors’ overall performance
  • Multifaceted recruiting (Indeed, Craigs List, Face to Face Recruiting)
  • Non CDL IC Compliance
  • Recruiting budget
  • Travel: 75% (TX, NC, IL, NY, OH primary)
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Office
  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Residence: Greenville, SC or Charlotte, NC (remote is possible if within the Southeast United States)
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • Bi-Lingual: English & Spanish
  • NHDA, CLDA, ECA exposure
  • Operations leadership within Final Mile
  • Education: College Degree
