Clinical Program Design & Execution
- Develop and launch scalable, disease-specific clinical programs for complex therapeutic areas (oncology, neurology, hematology).
- Integrate programs into operational workflows with a focus on continuity of care, adherence, and measurable patient outcomes.
- Build onboarding and longitudinal support models that improve adherence and reduce readmissions.
Patient Education & Engagement
- Design and manage education strategies and case management tools to support patients throughout their treatment journey.
- Oversee deployment of digital tools, nurse educators, and engagement pathways to drive >90% medication adherence.
Accreditation & Quality Standards
- Ensure programs meet and exceed URAC, ACHC, NABP, and other accreditation requirements.
- Lead quality improvement efforts and participate in regular audits and compliance initiatives.
Pharma & Industry Collaboration
- Serve as a clinical liaison to pharmaceutical manufacturers, co-developing patient support initiatives and enhanced service programs.
- Collaborate on real-world data collection and insights that support pharma-sponsored initiatives.
Therapeutic Market Intelligence
- Stay current on clinical developments, payer policy shifts, and digital health innovation in specialty therapeutics.
- Continuously refine Polaris’s clinical offerings based on evidence-based practices and competitive insights.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- PharmD required; residency training preferred.
- 8+ years of experience designing and leading clinical programs in specialty pharmacy or pharmaceutical services.
- Deep knowledge of therapeutic areas: oncology, neurology (MS), and hematology (hemophilia).
- Strong understanding of the specialty pharmacy ecosystem, including accreditation, patient services, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven success in working with pharmaceutical companies on patient services or enhanced service models.
- Knowledge of medication adherence strategies, patient journey mapping, and support services.
- Familiarity with patient engagement platforms, EMR systems, and care management tools.
- Clinical leader with a track record of improving adherence and patient outcomes through well-structured programs.
- Strong cross-functional collaborator comfortable working in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
- Has experience with or has led pharma-sponsored clinical initiatives or outcomes-based programs.
- Brings a business-savvy mindset to clinical programming—understanding both impact and ROI.
