Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program

Currently seeking a talented and dedicated Child/Adolescent Psychiatry Director for a great opportunity in the Eastern PA area. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years current experience working in acute care hospital in the Child/Adolescent Psychiatry department and 5+ years of experience working in a Child/Adolescent Psychiatry unit in a leadership role.

Responsibilities of the Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program

  • Assures great service, growth, development, and personnel management to ensure consistency in the Child/Adolescent Psychiatry Department
  • Develops, implements, and evaluates the Child/Adolescent Psychiatry program to ensure quality patient care consistent with the Hospital mission
  • Maintains complete and accurate records of assessments, financials and budgets of theChild/Adolescent Psychiatry Department
  • Promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families and all members of the Child/Adolescent Psychiatry team
Requirements of the Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program
  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy required
  • Completed both an ACGME or AOA accredited residency in psychiatry and an accredited fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry
  • Prior experience as program director or associate training director is highly desirable, and minimum of 3 years of experience of participating residency education, supervision, mentoring and administration is required
  • License to practice medicine
  • 5+ years current experience working in acute care hospital in the Child/Adolescent Psychiatry department
  • 5+ years of experience working in a Child/Adolescent Psychiatry unit in a leadership role
  • Ability to administer all proper clinical care of patient
  • Ability to maintain accurate medical record transcriptions
  • Ability to work in a team environment Problem solving skill set
  • Works collaboratively with healthcare professionals for quality patient care
