Position Responsibilities:
Working for a subsidiary of a leading producer of industrial pressure-treated wood products. Responding to the vital infrastructure needs of economy, they manufacture and distribute railway ties, utility poles, residential lumber, and industrial wood products across North America
The Director of Chemical Sales is responsible for the sales of refined tar product in the Midwest and Southeast United States. Other duties include managing the creosote supply program for the company’s plants in the US and Canada. This individual will oversee the procurement of all raw materials, logistics, and quality assurance of tar and creosote product. Most of the duties will be tied to the Memphis, TN plant. Other duties include P&L Management, sales forecasting, budgeting, vendor relationships, sales administration, supervising a staff of 2 people, and payable functions. Goal is to increase revenues, optimize costs, and maximize profitability.

Background Required:
  • Industrial Sales (2 yrs)
  • Travel up to 20%
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Suite (Advanced User)
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Residence: Terre Haute, IN (Relocation Assistance Provided if needed)
