Our Client is a 350 bed Hospital that sits on an 150 acre campus serving Northwest Houston. They are also part of one of the largest and most successful health systems in the United States.

They have an immediate need for a dynamic Cath Lab Director who will be responsible for this growing and critical department.

The registered nurse is a professional caregiver who specializes in assisting with invasive cardiac procedures and other procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility/accountability for patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via the nursing process, environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members

Education:

 

·        Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing

 

Experience:

·        Previous Cath Lab experience preferred but not required

·        Previous Intensive Care or cardiac related experience preferred

 

Licenses/Certificates:

 

·        RN License to practice in the state of Texas or Compact Licensure Agreement

·        Current BLS certification or obtained during the first week of orientation

·        Current ACLS certification or obtained during first year of employment
