Our client is a 500+bed certified in atrial fibrillation, a Truven Top 100 Hospital, and received their Joint Commission Sepsis accreditation. Their campus includes a mental health facility and comprehensive physical rehabilitation hospital.

Responsible for overall management of the day-to-day operation of the Cardiac Clinical Unit.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performance improvement; policies and procedures; staffing/productivity; program development; and nursing care for specific patient populations.
• Works closely with staff, physicians, and other managers to ensure quality patient care.
• Guides the staff in the implementation of the nursing process and directs the cost effective allocation of resources.

Qualifications:

Education Required AND/OR Preferred:

• BSN degree required. MSN or Masters in healthcare related field preferred.

Experience Required OR Preferred:

• 5 years related experience. Acute care or specialty nursing experience as appropriate.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

• Demonstrated success and abilities in leadership, achieving results, communications, customer service and health care management.

Licensure/Certification:

• RN license in the State of Florida or eligible BLS.
