Director of Capital Markets - Atlanta

The Director, Capital Markets is a direct report to the Vice President, Controller and is responsible for refining and executing on company’s funding strategy. You will manage the ecosystem of company’s funding and banking partners to deliver securitizations and other financing vehicles, often working through new ideas and deal structures to secure the best economics for the company The Capital Markets Director will also partner internally with the finance, data, operations, legal, and risk teams to provide a markets/funding perspective on revenue forecasting, product strategy and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for someone with strong analytical and organizational skills, and experience working in the financial services industry. This person will:

• Structure, analyze and execute on securitizations, warehouse facilities and other funding outlets to facilitate company’s rapid growth
• Manage the relationships with company’s many funding and deal partners including investment banks, investors, rating agencies, lawyers and auditors
• Collaborate internally with product, finance, credit and operations teams to provide a capital markets perspective into the FP&A and business strategy processes
• Prepare board and executive level presentations to guide business strategy decisioning and reporting
• Manage the processes and technology infrastructure in place to support the capital markets function

Education & Experience Required:

• 7 to 10 years capital markets transaction execution experience
• 3 to 5 years hands on treasury management experience
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role with personnel management experience
• Change management experience
• Strong excel skills required and financial modeling skills preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably with math / business / finance / economics focus
• Proven problem-solving, conceptual thinking, and analytical abilities
• Strong process improvement and project management abilities
• Strong executive-level communication skills
• Strong relationship building skills to work effectively across all areas of the business
