Director of Business Development

Job Description

Position Responsibilities:
  • Own revenue goals across new and existing clients
  • Lead sourcing, pitching, and closing of new cardiology practice and health system partnerships
  • Cultivate relationships with C-suite leaders, clinical directors, and operations executives
  • Drive existing customer growth by identifying opportunities to expand scope with established clients (e.g. adding new pods, geographies, subspecialties)
  • Partner with implementation and account teams to ensure delivery is exceeding expectations and creating future upsell opportunities
  • Develop and refine commercial playbooks, value propositions, and pitch materials
  • Oversee contracting and deal structuring in collaboration with legal and finance
  • Represent at key industry events and with strategic partners (AHA, ACC, MGMA, etc.)
  • Track and report pipeline health, close rates, and expansion metrics to inform executive decision-making
  • Partner with members of the board to build pipeline and connect with key opportunities

Experience & Skills:
Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare sales, strategy, or partnerships, ideally with a services or tech-enabled care delivery company
  • Energized by the variety and momentum of early-stage work, who shares our belief that better cardiology care can save lives and improve clinician well-being
  • Proven success owning both net new sales and account expansion
  • Comfort navigating provider organizations and building trust with physicians and administrators
  • Consultative approach to selling that centers the client’s goals and workflow
  • Highly collaborative and capable of aligning across clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders
  • Strong communicator with executive presence and a high degree of emotional intelligence

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience in virtual care, provider staffing, or specialty practice transformation preferred
Compensation $150k-$180k, Health Insurance, 401k
