Position Responsibilities:
reporting to the VP, Sales for the Final Mile Organization of a National Supply Chain Company.
The Director Business Development (White Glove) is responsible for leading the pursuit of new business and expansion/renewal business as applicable. They coordinate the complete sales cycle process including lead generation, prospect qualification, and leading the cross-functional pursuit team by providing clear direction on deal strategy: pricing, service, value proposition and presentation message and medium. The focus for this position is on new sales contracts, team selling, and solution selling.

Background Required:
  • White Glove Home Delivery Sales (2 yrs)
  • Demonstrated ability to build and grow business ($6-$8 million)
  • Big Box Retailer sales experience
  • Develop and execute business plan strategies and sales methodology
  • Negotiations
  • Mastery of sales cycle
  • Travel: 10-20%
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Suite
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Residence: Remote

  • Portable book of business
  • Commodity specialization (Furniture, Appliances, Mattresses, Fitness Equipment, Construction)
  • Transportation Management/Managed Transportation Sales
