Position Responsibilities:
reporting to the VP, Sales for the Final Mile Organization of a National Supply Chain Company.
The Director Business Development (White Glove) is responsible for leading the pursuit of new business and expansion/renewal business as applicable. They coordinate the complete sales cycle process including lead generation, prospect qualification, and leading the cross-functional pursuit team by providing clear direction on deal strategy: pricing, service, value proposition and presentation message and medium. The focus for this position is on new sales contracts, team selling, and solution selling.

- White Glove Home Delivery Sales (2 yrs)
- Demonstrated ability to build and grow business ($6-$8 million)
- Big Box Retailer sales experience
- Develop and execute business plan strategies and sales methodology
- Negotiations
- Mastery of sales cycle
- Travel: 10-20%
- Computer literate: Microsoft Suite
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Residence: Remote
- Portable book of business
- Commodity specialization (Furniture, Appliances, Mattresses, Fitness Equipment, Construction)
- Transportation Management/Managed Transportation Sales
- Excellent communications (verbal & written presentations)
