Our Client is a 400+ bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care hospital near Gainesville, Florida. Known for having the shortest wait time of all emergency facilities in the area, this large health system facility specializes in cardiovascular care, oncology, wound therapy, and more. The Center also recently opened two state-of-the-art, freestanding emergency rooms.
- Performance improvement; policies and procedures; staffing/productivity; program development; and nursing care for specific patient populations.
- Works closely with staff, physicians, and other managers to ensure quality patient care.
- Guides the staff in the implementation of the nursing process and directs the cost effective allocation of resources.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's in nursing required
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Psychiatry or Mental Health Preferred
- Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- RN license in the State of Florida.
- BLS
Experience/ Skills
- Demonstrated success and abilities in leadership, achieving results, communications, customer service and health care management.
- Two years experience as a registered nurse in the specialty area of behavioral health in a supervisory capacity.
