We are looking for a Director of Accounting to work for our client. The ideal candidate will align with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a technically strong accounting professional to shape strategy, drive process transformation, and serve as a trusted advisor across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Overall ownership of all accounting functions of the Company
• Serve as a business partner, technical accounting expert, and ambassador of strong controls and compliance
• Providing counsel and guidance to business and finance leaders on complex items such as policy interpretation and transactional support from contractual review through assessment of reporting and disclosure impacts
• Collaboratively lead key strategic transactions and initiatives from an accounting lens assessing financial impacts and proactively identifying down-stream process impacts ensuring successful implementation and sustainable processes
• Drives continuous improvement activities to increase the effectiveness of financial processes and the information systems supporting these processes
• Serve as a change agent, proactively identifying opportunities and implementing process efficiencies to improve both functional and overall business operations and results
• Leads and/or prepares any other special projects and analyses required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
• 8+ years experience in Accounting or Finance
• Strong technical understanding of GAAP
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships
