We are looking for an Director of Accounting to work for our client. The ideal candidate will align with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Corporate Accounting worldwide accounting close and consolidations team to accurate and timely report the Company’s financial results in accordance with US GAAP and global accounting policies
• Set and communicate guidelines on close activities such as journal entries, reconciliations, and the monthly and quarterly financial close meetings with other cross-functional teams
• Present monthly and quarterly consolidated financial results and analytical review procedures on significant changes period over the period to senior management and business partners
• Participate meaningfully in the business and strategic plan of the organization
• Develop and mentor staff towards increased efficiency, effectiveness, and performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 8+ years of accounting experience with demonstrated progressive responsibility
• Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting requirements
• Detailed oriented with a strong bias for action, ability to proactively dig into the details and resolve issues
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
