Our client a well-known Thai hospitality brand located in Phuket and Khao Lak, renowned for its exceptional service and luxurious accommodations.

Title of Position: Director of Accounting

Package: 100,000 - 120,000 Baht

Report to: CFO

Requirements:

Education & Qualifications

• Thai Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 8+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior accounting role within the hospitality industry.
• Proven experience in leading and training Chief Accountants.
• Experience in setting up accounting systems and processes for new hotel openings.
• Expertise in Opera, Opera Cloud, MICROS, MC, and Sun Systems.
• Strong background in hotel financial reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls.
• Familiarity with Thai tax laws and experience in handling tax compliance and reporting.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent training, mentoring, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software, financial reporting tools, and Excel.
• Ability to work across multiple teams and properties to implement accounting best practices.
• Knowledge of Thai tax regulations, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
