Director (Vice President) of Financial Communications

This is a very strategic business hire for an award winning, international asset management PR agency. For the right person, this role offers limitless opportunity. You will be fundamental in working with the CEO to develop and grow both the business itself but also their already impressive client list. You will immediately be running one of their most prestigious accounts as well as developing prospective new clients. The company is very focused on becoming a main player within the financial services space and has a real emphasis on growing their private equity and hedge funds client base, along with their already very impressive asset management offerings.

The Role:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Communications, Business Administration, Economics or Political Science.
  • You will be immediately running one of the agency’s biggest, most prestigious accounts, along with other existing client accounts.
  • Work closely with the CEO and Sales Director to develop and bring in new business.
  • You will be assisting the current Associate Director who manages and mentors the team.

  • You will be extremely ambitious, focused and really want to make a difference.
  • Have a burning desire to be involved in the strategic development of an innovative business by providing vision and insight into the financial services industry (more specifically asset management, private equity and hedge funds).
  • You must be driven by results and not afraid to roll your sleeves up and be involved in all areas of the business from new business to running accounts to managing and mentoring the team.
  • You have a proven track record of winning new business and have the required skills and drive to grow the existing client base.
