The Director, Technical Services, reporting to the Vice President of Information Technology, is responsible for the strategy, management, integration and implementation of technical infrastructure/communications for the system. Direct management responsibility over system administration, database management, networking, server group, desktop services, data center operations, help desk, biomed, clinical imaging and communications. Total desktops are over 10,000 and 380 servers. Staff complement is 92 via 10 managers.
Candidate qualifications include a Bachelors’ Degree in a related discipline and at least seven years of management experience within a large IT department (at least one data center and 2,000 end-users). Candidates should present with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be collaborative and have the ability to develop capital and labor budgets. Project management expertise is essential as there are a number of major projects scheduled.
Saint Francis Health System is anchored by Saint Francis Hospital, a 1,112-bed tertiary center, which includes the region's only children's hospital and level IV neonatal intensive care unit, a 168-bed heart hospital and Tulsa's leading trauma and emergency center. The system also includes hospitals in South Tulsa, Muskogee and Vinita, as well as a management agreement with Oklahoma State University Medical Center. Additionally, Saint Francis employs 350 providers through Warren Clinic, which serves the region with over 75 locations throughout eastern Oklahoma, as well as operating a stand-alone emergency department.
