Our client is a 370 bed hospital and is part of one of the largest and most successful hospitals in the United States, with over 30 hospitals in over 10 states.

This hospital offers a level II emergency department, orthopedic care, advanced cardiac services, peripheral artery disease treatment and OB/GYN services in a caring and conducive environment.

Our client has an immediate need for a Director of Surgical Services to guide and lead a tenured department.

Job summary

Job description/Responsibilities:

·         The Director is responsible and accountable for the operations and efficiencies of the surgical services department. Ensure the efficient functions of the department. 

Required Qualification:

·         Current and valid state RN License or eligible

·         Previous supervisory experience, preferred.

·         Current Assaultive Behavior Management training (MAB) within 3 months of hire and maintain current biennially recommended.

·         Minimum of five year staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting; Surgical Services setting preferred.

·         Basic Arrhythmia within 90 days of hire

·         3 years supervisory experience in the OR
