Our client is a 225+ bed hospital located in the heart of southeast Missouri. It encompasses two hospitals and numerous health care service facilities, including cancer treatment centers and physical therapy and rehabilitation facilities. Offering a full range of medical services and procedures to patients in the region, our client brings quality health care to this community with comprehensive services and an experienced team of physicians and caregivers.
They have engaged our firm to identify and recruit a top notch Service Line Director for their dynamic surgical services units.
Oversees the daily operations of the surgery department. Responsible for the procurement and maintenance of equipment and supplies, staffing and training of employees, and budgeting. May oversee pre- and post-operative care of patients. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to an executive.
Job Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related area and at least 10 years of experience in the field.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
