Our client is a comprehensive, fully integrated, healthcare delivery system that serves the greater North Shore and Illinois communities with several hospitals, over 900 licensed beds and too many awards to list!

They have engaged our firm to identify a Clinical Nurse Director for a 150+ bed campus in one of the most desirable suburbs in the Chicago land area. This is a full-time position and is benefits eligible. This position is responsible for the daily operational oversight of the ASU, OR, PACU and SPD Matrix. Additional Administrative Leadership responsibilities required.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

• Have 24-hour accountability and responsibility for the professional nursing practice, nursing education, nursing leadership and quality patient care in their assigned areas.
• Be responsible for collaborating with numerous ancillary support departments, physicians and administration to achieve identified outcomes of care and quality patient care.
• Adhere to all regulatory compliance bodies.
• Create a departmental environment that promotes customer loyalty for patients, families, physicians, and employees.

Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Current professional nursing licensure in the state of IL required.
• Bachelors degree in nursing required.
• Masters degree in nursing, business or a healthcare related discipline required.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum of five years experience in appropriate clinical setting required.
• Previous management experience required.
• Proven success working with program planning, complex problem solving, and moving nursing practice forward in a collaborative.
