Position Responsibilities:
Will report to the CEO for a regional dedicated truckload provider.

The Director, Sales is a hunter who secures new business nationally. The Director will be responsible for the development and signing of profitable new business, additional business. Coordinates complete sales cycle process including suspect list initiation, lead generation, prospect qualification, analysis, and presentation(s), start-up and customer service follow-up after the sale. Challenge is to increase revenues and improve profitability.

Background Required:
  • Transportation account executive (4 years)
  • National accounts (sold nationwide)
  • Proven track record of producing profitable growth
  • Pricing logic & analysis
  • CRM exposure (i.e. Salesforce.com)
  • Computer literate (MS Office, Outlook)
  • Residence: Midwest or Southeast (home office environment)
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • TMW Suite
  • Operations
Other Essential Abilities and Skills:
  • Excellent communications (written, oral and presentation)
