Position Responsibilities:
Will report to the President for a long-haul transportation provider.

The Director, Sales is a hunter who secures new business. The Director will be responsible for the development and signing of profitable new business, additional business, and maintaining current accounts. Coordinates complete sales cycle process including suspect list initiation, lead generation, prospect qualification, analysis, and presentation(s), start-up and customer service follow-up after the sale. Challenge is to increase revenues and improve profitability.

Background Required:
  • Transportation account executive (5 years)
  • National accounts (eastern half of US)
  • Inside and outside sales
  • Proven track record of producing profitable growth
  • Pricing logic & analysis
  • Computer literate (MS Office, Outlook)
  • Residence: Near a major airport (home office environment)
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • CRM Software (i.e.: HubSpot)
  • Transportation Management Systems (McLeod, Omnitracs, Keep Trucking)
  • Operations
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (i.e. Supply Chain, Logistics or Transportation)
