Our client is a 300 bed hospital that is part of the top healthcare systems in NC. They utilize advanced technologies and employee the top physicians in the area. They are searching for a rock star Director of Risk Management to join their outstanding hospital.

The Risk Director is responsible for development and implementation of the corporation's risk management program; including, but not limited to procurement of professional and general liability insurance coverage and risk financing, clinical loss prevention, risk identification and evaluation, claims management, and litigation management. The Director of Risk will also include incident investigation, analysis, tracking, trending and evaluation. Additionally, this role serves as the Patient Safety Officer.

Qualifications:

• BSN Required, Masters preferred
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) or Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.
• 3+ years' experience in nursing, risk management, performance improvement (quality) or professional liability claims management.
