Our client focuses on treatment of psychiatric and addiction issues in adults. Services include inpatient, outpatient programs and partial hospitalization programs for mental health and/or substance abuse. The Nursing team provides clinical, therapeutic, and administrative support to the behavioral health program. The facility is home to a 12 bed Emergency Department available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It provides psychiatric care for adults and seniors in an inpatient setting with 22 beds, state of the art patient rooms and group areas. The staff and physicians are committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate treatment for patients and their loved ones.

Job Summary:

• You will manage and oversee all inpatient management and staff.
• Responsible for the development and implementation of the nursing department’s quality of care, coordinating with other clinical departments across all inpatient programs.
• Develops and strives for achievement of financial objectives, including appropriate staffing targets and budget management.
• Directs nursing staff in an ethical, goal-oriented manner.
• Assists with monitoring and evaluating all nursing activities including staff development, risk and safety management, budget and financial management, compliance with regulatory standards, policy and procedure development and implementation and performance improvement activities.
• Conducts audits and seeks to improve care/services based on findings; investigates situations for service recovery opportunities.
• Promotes hospital customer service initiative.

Qualifications:

• Current Tennessee RN licensure.
• Bachelor's Degree or MSN-preferred.
• Five to Seven years within psychiatric nursing
• Three to Five years of experience in a supervisory role
• Appropriate interpersonal/communication skills.
• Computer Skills.
• BLS – American Heart Association – required.
• CPI within 30 days of employment- required.
