We are working on a Director of IT Security role with our International client based in Central Ohio. The ideal candidate will align with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

• Build a strategic and comprehensive information security program that defines, develops, maintains and implements policies and processes that enable consistent, effective information security practices which minimize risk and ensure the integrity and confidentiality of information
• Evaluate security trends, evolving threats, risks and vulnerabilities and applies tools to mitigate risk as necessary
• Create a strategic plan for the deployment of information security technologies and program enhancements
• Effectively manage, monitor, and communicate enterprise security risk by maintaining visibility across the enterprise
• Manage the scope, schedule, and resource allocation for projects and operational activities
• Gather and report on cybersecurity metrics that demonstrate the productivity, trends, and relative cost/benefit of the security operations and other cybersecurity initiatives

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of IT security experience with demonstrated progressive responsibility
• Strong knowledge of security management frameworks, such as ISO, ITIL and COBIT
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of security standards, industry best practices and maturity frameworks
• Strong knowledge of the following areas of technical expertise: information policy formulation, information security management, business risk management, IT risk assessment and management, IT continuity management, IT governance formulation, organizational change management, IT financial management, and IT audit
