About Our Client:

Our client is seeking a professional Director, FP & A with at least 8 years overall financial reporting and/or related progressive experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in IFRS financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Offer business support and financial advice to Brands/Marketing, Operations, Sales
  • Assist CEO/CFO with Board presentations and adhoc analysis
  • Manage Gross margin planning, forecasting and analysis
  • Record the financial performance for internal stakeholders
  • Organize monthly financial performance reporting and key performance metrics
  • Work closely with Sales, Operations and Marketing teams regarding forecasting and analyzing gross
  • Work closely with CEO and CFO on M&A transactions

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years overall financial reporting and/or related progressive experience is required.
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • IFRS financial reporting knowledge/ experience (asset)
  • Detail oriented, professional and organized
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
