Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Sales of a leading asset based supply chain and logistics provider with tractors, trailers, and warehouse space. Delivers solutions across a variety of industries including “business to business” & “business to consumer” distribution, manufacturing, e-retailers, import & export, non-perishable warehouse & distribution, and supply chain consulting. Portfolio of services include domestic & international freight, truckload brokerage, warehousing, distribution & fulfillment, project & on-site management, and area final mile.
The Director, Enterprise Sales is responsible for locating, growing and maintaining revenue levels that support growth goals. Monitors, locates & secures new business opportunities for all service offerings through research, cold calls, and referrals. Drives solutions design customer interactions, conducts business reviews, and collaborates with internal teams to maintain & grow customer relationships. Leads onboarding process & customer expectations by creating sales presentations, preparing bids & contracts, and effectively communicating requirements. Grows existing accounts and reports on sales activities to achieve assigned revenue & margin goals. Collaborates with all departments to increase revenues, optimize costs, and maximize profits.

Background Required:
  • Contractual Non-Asset Transportation Sales (2 yrs.)
  • Multimodal (i.e. TL, LTL)
  • Quantifiable new business sales accomplishments
  • Managed account development growth
  • Time & territory management through customer relationship management system (CRM)
  • Negotiated bids and prepared contracts
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Office Suite and utilizes internal TMS
  • Minneapolis, MN
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • Transportation Management System (i.e. MercuryGate)
  • Multi Service Offering experience (i.e. warehousing, trucking, international transportation)
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
