Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director, Human Resources for regional transportation provider,

The Director, Driver Recruiting is responsible for leading and overseeing the direction, approaches, and strategies of recruiting for company drivers and owner operators. Develops and executes recruiting and retention plans, tracking measurable results. Actively recruits for open positions using a diverse mix of recruiting tools, websites, social media, and mobile app. Creates & maintains an online recruiting presence with marketing strategy in line with company objectives. Collaborates with the safety department to execute onboarding and orientation for new drivers. Provides daily & weekly reporting of marketing and recruiting statistics, consulting with management to strategize for continuous improvement. Creates, plans, implements, and publishes marketing campaigns & materials. Prepares online and print marketing campaigns. Demonstrates tenacity for results & accountable to become a content expert.

Background Required:
  • Managed driver recruiting & retention department (5 yrs.)
  • Driver sourcing, interviewing, hiring, & on-boarding (35 drivers per month)
  • KPI’s & metric reporting to measure success
  • Strategic business planning & tactical execution
  • Purchased advertising & measure lead generation (i.e. social media, mobile app)
  • Applicant tracking systems: (i.e. TenStreet, HireRight, TMW, McLeod)
  • Computer Literate: Microsoft suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Residence: Green Bay, WI (Relocation assistance provided)
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • In-cab communication and eLog (i.e., Qualcomm, Rand McNally)
  • Education: BS or BA degree
