Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the VP, Sales for a regional transportation provider.

The Director, Dedicated Sales is responsible for the sales and marketing of dedicated contract carriage, hunting for new dedicated business. Identifies, nurtures and supports the delivery of new fleet-conversion dedicated opportunities that result in substantial growth in market share, revenues and margin. Additionally, ensures movement of opportunities to close, as well as to develop pipeline activity within the Dedicated U.S. operations team. Engages internal partners effectively to improve win rates for the Dedicated sales team and delivery of selected deals. Meets or exceeds monthly, quarterly and annual revenue sales objectives. Advocates for customers and help drive a customer service mentality within the company. Utilizes superior communications skills to build and maintain effective relationships with peers, managers and clients. Develops, implements and tracks sales metrics on a regular basis for visual understanding of performance against plan elements. Requires up to 50 % travel.
