They have engaged our firm to help them locate a world class leader for their state of the art Cath and Electrophysiology (EP) Labs.

They are searching for a Director of Operations for Cardiac Catheterization who, under the direction of the Care Center VP and in collaboration with Leadership, will perform diversified duties to support and improve the day-to-day operation of care center focused programs and practices consistent with the strategic vision of the organization. Responsible for the operations and administrative support areas of specialties which may include inpatient, outpatient and/or ambulatory settings across the health system in assigned care center. Provide operational direction to practice and specialty managers. Collaborate with Directors Operations, primary care and other care center directors to ensure coordination of service delivery, information technology, financial, strategic, talent management, quality and regulatory resources within the hospital to support the Primary Care practices. Provide oversight and direction to ensure delivery of quality care to patients using benchmarks and standards. Promote cooperation by developing and maintaining open lines of communication between care centers and clinical specialties in a collaborative way with all constituencies within the health system to provide patient-centered care. Duties require direct supervisory responsibility for all assigned personnel in practices as assigned.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of assigned specialty inpatient, outpatient, clinical and administrative services, management information systems, financial principles including the ability to prepare and interpret budgets and financial reports, development of business plans for services and capital equipment, and regulatory and reimbursement issues required.
  • A Master’s Degree in Health Care, Business Administration or other related field or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • A minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years management and supervisory experience including care center and/or practice operations and administrative experience is required.
