Our client is a 400 bed tertiary care facility.

As an advanced tertiary care center, it provides specialty cardiovascular care ranging from advanced electrophysiology studies to ventricular assist device implantation to heart transplants. With advanced cardiovascular training, the Heart Center’s clinical specialists and dedicated staff deliver innovative cardiac and vascular services including:

  • Advanced diagnostics to evaluate coronary artery disease
  • Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
  • Advanced heart failure treatment in a dedicated inpatient unit
  • Heart transplant
  • Ventricular assist device (VAD) implantation
  • Management of complex heart rhythm disorders
  • Diagnostic and interventional procedures to treat peripheral vascular disease
  • Electrophysiology studies and ablation treatments
  • Advanced device therapies for pacemaker and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) placement
  • Minimally invasive surgery for heart and blood vessel disorders
  • Bypass, valve replacement, carotid and other surgical procedures
  • Blood clot treatment with thrombectomies or inferior vena cava (IVC) filters
  • Aquapheresis®, an innovative therapy for fluid overload

Due to extraordinary growth and volumes, they are looking to elevate the position of Director to manage their 4 busy CVOR rooms. Must have cardiovascular experience to join their BUSY surgical services team. Great opportunity for a hands on leader who enjoys a fast pace and unlimited resources while working with an established team that needs a leader to help them grow and increase volumes.

Under the administrative direction of assigned top management, ensures compliance with regulatory agencies impacting patient care in CVOR Surgery; develops, implements and monitors goals and objectives of assigned divisions to most effectively integrate its technical and human resources to support the organization’s mission. Plans, manages, evaluates, and provides for the delivery of patient care, having 24-hour primary responsibility through optimal utilization of technical and human resources.

Qualifications:

Education/Registration/Certification/Licensure:

  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation) within three (3) months of date in position.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related health care field.

Experience: :

  • Minimum of 5 years clinical /professional healthcare experience with 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
