Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the President, this is a direct selling role. The person in this position will lead the complete sales cycle process including prospect list initiation, lead generation, prospect qualification, analysis, pricing, negotiation, proposal preparation and presentation(s), contract signing, start-up and hand-off to the account management team for post-sale customer relationship management. The primary mandate is to find and secure new customers and optimize their spend through direct sales activity.
The company uses a proprietary transportation management system, customer collaboration, comprehensive logistics engineering, and a robust carrier procurement and partnership process to create seamless and optimized supply chain performance. Operates the following business segments: freight management; truckload brokerage; international freight forwarding; and freight bill audit & pay. Modes supported include LTL, FTL, parcel, and international LCL, FCL and airfreight.

Background Required:
  • Third Party Logistics Contractual Transportation Management Sales (5 years).
  • Assist executive leadership team in market penetration and growth strategy (proven track record of success)
  • Sector/Vertical’s (General Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Retail, Chemical, Industrial)
  • Significant Supply Chain Management software knowledgeable (TMS)
  • Computer proficient (Office suite, Power Point, Word, Excel)
  • Location: (home office or company office)
  • Travel: 50%
  • Education: College Graduate-BA or BS (Logistics, Marketing)
