Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Vice President for a leading provider of integrated supply chain solutions. The Director of Business Development will be responsible for selling and signing profitable ($5M to $10M annually) new business. Complete sales cycle process including prospect development, lead generation, prospect qualification, analysis, pricing, proposal preparation and presentation(s), contract signing, start-up and customer service follow-up after the sale. Challenge is to expand customer base, increase revenues and enhance profitability.

Background Required:
- Proven record of selling and closing Warehousing and Drayage sales (5 years)
- International drayage knowledge
- Develop and execute business plan strategies
- Knowledge of industry-standard technologies (TMS, WMS, LMS)
- Supply Chain Integration Process
- Metrics measurements (i.e. pricing, delivery, costs, quality audits)
- Computer literate: Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook
- Travel: up to 50%
- Residence: Remote office
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Vertical expertise (Retail, CPG, Industrial, High Tech, etc.)
- Graduate degree: Masters, MBA
- Self-starter
- Verbal and written communication
- Tenacity to close
- Executive level presenter
- Financial acumen
