Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the US General Manager of a public organization providing comprehensive supply-chain solutions and fulfillment services. Responsible for the proactive development and signing of profitable new business, additional business, and limited participation in startups and transition of project management to a permanent management team. Coordinates complete sales cycle process including prospect list initiation, lead generation, prospect qualification, analysis, pricing, negotiation, proposal preparation and presentation(s), contract signing, start-up and customer service follow-up after the sale. Challenge is to expand account base, pursue and close new business, increase revenues and improve profitability.

Background Required:
  • Third Party Logistics Business Development selling value added warehousing and fulfillment solutions. (Shared & Dedicated) (5 years)
  • Develop and execute business plan strategies (Small to Medium sized target customers)
  • National and Americas Account Exposure
  • Understanding of Industrial Engineering fundamentals
  • Sector/Vertical’s (FMCG, CPG, E-Commerce B2B/B2C)
  • Project Management (lead pursuit team)
  • Supply Chain Management software (WMS, LMS)
  • Computer proficient (Office suite, Power Point, Word, Excel)
  • Proven negotiations ability
  • Location: Home office (NJ, TX, IL, CA)
  • Travel: 50%
  • Education: College Graduate-BA or BS
